Abstract expressionist painter Mary Abbott's copy, with her penciled ownership signature on the FFEP. Guest and Abbott were close friends, collaborating on several pieces together.
Scuffing and light scratching throughout boards, spine titling slightly rubbed and dulled, small abrasion in middle of spine edge. Rubbed at all extremities, bottom corners bumped and rubbed through. Isolated patches of silverfishing on top page edges. Slight discoloration endpapers and pastedowns. Previous bookstore label on title page. Good only, though a one-of-a-kind and important association copy of a book generally scarce in any condition.
