True first/first of a crucial mid-century work. Jacket has two tears at head of spine, with a couple small corresponding creases, otherwise light wear throughout. Spine customarily faded to near-white, with text still slightly legible. Book itself slightly faded at edges, dust soiled at top page edges, minor rubbing at spine ends. At some point, though there is no noticeable stain, the bottom edges of the pages must have come in contact with moisture, and thus the bottom half inch of most of them is slightly waved (see picture), otherwise book solidly VG, priced accordingly.
