A large hardcover edition of Poe's poetry, listed as "illustrated" on the spine but seemingly only with decorated page borders. Still a handsomely produced edition with chamfer edges and decorated boards.
Some scattered surface silverfishing throughout boards, rubbing and light scuffs scattered as well, head of spine heavily rubbed with some moderate-to-heavy rubbing to tail and all corners as well. Staining and foxing visible to the frontispiece portrait of Poe, some staining visible lower fore corners of most pages as well. Some discoloration to interior pages. Cracking beginning at front hinge, otherwise binding remains without cracks but is heavily creased in the middle, resulting in the middle 10 or so pages sticking out unevenly from text block. Previous owner name on FFEP. Overall aesthetically G+ but remaining in sturdy shape. Uncommon in this edition.
