An antique edition that contains numerous reproductions of Holbein's famous "Dance of Death" engravings, as well as a number of his religious engravings.
Spine faded, with tear at base of spine, heavy rubbing at both spine ends. Discoloration to rear board, small surface dent near top edge. Slight bumping and curling to corners. About half of the pages have some amount of wrinkling from exposure to moisture, and there are a few light stains to the interior. Binding is about half cracked in one place near the back of the book, otherwise in sound shape. Some light foxing to printed endpapers and pastedowns. Additionally, a number of pages are uncut at the top edges. Overall G+. Rare in any condition.
