Post-1951 book club edition of Salinger's classic novel, retaining the original dust jacket art by E. Michael Mitchell.
Moderate-to-heavy wear throughout jacket--some staining at lower corners and lower edge of back panel, J-shaped tear at head of spine, spine color faded, some surface scratching. Now housed in mylar. Book has some rubbing at lower edges and corners, binding has a thin partial crack at first blank page, otherwise in sound shape. Overall a VG- book in a fair-to-good jacket.
