Fishback's first book, collecting poems which first appeared in several prominent magazines, including the New Yorker and Vanity Fair.
Jacket is variously worn with a faded spine, a chip at the top right corner of the front panel, general edgewear, and some fading that extends to the back cover as well, with a couple of small stains. Book itself has light wear at the head and tail of the spine, just a hint of fading to the spine titling which has been protected behind the jacket, slight fade to top stain, and toning to endpapers and pastedowns. Overall VG for its age, sharp corners and little wear that is not age-related.
