A copy of Fowler's "Practical Phrenologist" that was used to assess one "Wm. O'Brien"--Fowler has written the individual's name and signed his own name on the title page, with the written date of October 12th, 1878.
Pencil checkmarks in the front matter from Fowler. Heavy wear with some loss at corners of spine ends, heavy rubbing at board corners, some silverfishing and soiling at all page edges, light surface silverfishing throughout boards. Binding is well-read and has a couple thin cracks, though all pages remain in place, nothing loose. Overall in fair-to-good condition.
