Large, heavy volume, intricately designed and illustrated throughout. The contents of the book are divided into seven "ages" existing within the four seasons.
Rubbing to all extremities, with some loss at head of spine and rubbing at tail of spine as well. Some dust soiling along top page edges. Large gift inscription across the entire front endpaper in period cursive. Heavy reading creasing wear along front hinge, which currently appears solid but is likely getting thin. Still, all remains intact, with no binding cracks or other serious wear. Overall VG for its age.
