A two volume edition of Hugo's classic. Each volume is bound in illustrated boards with gilt at top page edges and bound-in ribbon markers.
Both volumes have some rubbing to spine titles and decorations, as well as some light foxing at top page edges. Light rubbing at extremities. Volume I has a thin crack near the front of the book, while volume II has a thin crack just starting near the front of the book as well. The ribbon marker in volume II has been torn. Both present very well from the outside. About VG.
