Book two of Du Bois's "The Black Flame" trilogy.
Jacket has light-to-moderate wear at all edges and extremities, light surface rubbing throughout. Red color and author name faded from spine. Rear panel has heavy green staining and wrinkling. Now housed in Brodart cover. Rear board of book has heavy paper transfer and staining from jacket, otherwise slight age tanning to pages, slight discoloration to endpapers and pastedowns, and a small split beginning in middle of rear hinge. Would be VG without the staining.
