Jacket heavily worn at edges and corners, with a number of small tears and some slight feathering, with small loss at corners. Some light spotting and moderate foxing at all edges, slight discoloration throughout, soiling to rear panel, with surface creasing visible at edges of flaps. Now housed in Brodart cover. Book itself has some dust soiling at top page edges, a couple small surface level stains at fore edges of pages, dust drag at lower fore corners of text block. Some discoloration to endpapers and pastedowns near hinges. Crack in binding at title page, minuscule tear in cloth at head of spine. Overall G+. Scarce in the first state.
